I began longarm machine quilting in 1998 when I bought my Gammill Premier. In 2002, I added IntelliStitch to my machine and my husband and I began an association with Kasa Engineering installing IntelliStitch on unregulated machines around the U.S. In 2006 I added IntelliQuilter to my machine and, together with my husband, began installing IntelliQuilters and supporting iQ users. I have taught iQ classes at several shows and to small groups of iQ owners in the U.S.A, as well as at Australian Machine Quilting Festival, and at privately arranged classes in England. I have made many iQ demonstration videos that can be found on Youtube and also at the blog iqdemos.com. I also wrote articles about iQ and IntelliStitch for the magazines ‘On Track’ and ‘Machine Quilting Unlimited’. Sadly neither of those magazines are published now. In addition to quilting for customers, I have entered many of my own quilts in shows around the U.S and have won multiple ribbons. In 2012 I stopped quilting for customers when we moved from Las Vegas to Springfield in South Dakota, and shortly after our move, my husband and I retired from installing iQ’s. I still offer less formal support online and continue to make instructional videos, and ofcourse enjoy using my iQ on my own quilts.

A lifelong love of sewing has led me in many directions since my early childhood, when my mother patiently shared with me her love of the art… I work as a professional machine quilter with three APQS Millennium longarm machines each equipped with an IntelliQuilter computerized quilting system. With the addition of the Intelliquilter I have unlimited creative options and a thriving longarm quilting business. Creating digital designs for computerized quilting systems was a natural result of getting my first IntelliQuilter. I always fashioned my own designs when I was a hand-guided free-motion quilter, so creating digital designs was a natural progression. I was one of the first designers to join Intelligent Quilting in 2007 and was delighted to have the opportunity to acquire it 5 years later, in late 2012. Additionally, I've been published in both Quilter's Newsletter Magazine and Machine Quilting Unlimited. I am a Certified IntelliQuilter Trainer, and I teach around the country in private studios as well as at national and international conventions, such as the prestigious Machine Quilter's Exposition and AMQF. I continue to design as often as possible, as it is one of the aspects of the industry that I enjoy the most. I also manage the day-to-day operations of the company, not limited to but including email communications, newsletters and customer service.

The Intelliquilter (IQ) support and knowledge provided by Tracey Browning is first rate! Her experience as both an A1 Quilting machine & IQ dealer and award-winning machine quilter are invaluable in assisting me with any technical issues I have had over the years. I am so impressed by her knowledge that I purchased a membership to IQ Machine Quilting Academy as soon as I heard about it. Highly recommend Tracey’s skill and know how!
