A class by Tracey Browning
Tracey loves to find shortcuts and features to make quick quilts as gifts. With the current world upheaval I wanted to create this to support for Ukraine. It was deemed suitable to provide both a visually appealing quilt as well as making a silent statement of support.
Any applique that is created using felt or fleece could also be used to create tactile images for little people to touch, experience and discover the different textures as well, with less fraying.
Using the Intelliquilter tools we will be designing a number of different 'embroidery' style stitches along with basic applique designs that layer over each other. These are all stitched down with Intelliquilter before trimming to the finished shape and then finished with an embroidery stitch to secure the raw edges.
The possibilities are endless!

Tracey Browning
Over 30 years being in the quilting business, Tracey has experience in so many areas that she is keen to share with you. From her early years as a quilt teacher, quilt designer, pattern designer, magazine and quilting books contributor to then moving into longarm machine quilting for customers, becoming the Australian Dealer for A1 Quilting machines and Intelliquilter computer systems. Her own customers have long applauded her dedication to mentoring and supporting them as they learn and grow.
