Inspired by the arrival of my new grandson, I decided to create a unique quilt just for him.
I chose 4 feature fabric squares, each paired with 4 different contrast fabrics, along with a background fabric, to give the quilt a fresh and colorful design. The Winnie the Pooh fabrics I selected added a fun and playful touch that is perfect for a baby. As I worked on the quilt, I realized that the tone-on-tone border needed a special design to enhance the overall look. With a width of only 4 inches, I wanted a pattern that would flow smoothly and elegantly around the border, turning the corners seamlessly.
I turned to my trusty Intelliquilter for inspiration and guidance.
To share my knowledge and techniques with other quilting enthusiasts, I created this class focused on using the Path Pattern feature of Intelliquilter. In this class, I demonstrate how to create a design that beautifully travels around the quilt border, ensuring that it fits perfectly and stitches out flawlessly as you advance your quilt on the machine.
This class aims to provide valuable tips and tricks for creating stunning border designs that elevate the overall look of your quilt
