This course is designed for experienced beginners to Advanced longarm quilters who own and operate an Intelliquilter (iQ) system. It is specifically aimed at those who want to move on from simple custom quilting.
Tracey Browning
Over 30 years being in the quilting business, Tracey has experience in so many areas that she is keen to share with you. From her early years as a quilt teacher, quilt designer, pattern designer, magazine and quilting books contributor to then moving into longarm machine quilting for customers, becoming the Australian Dealer for A1 Quilting machines and Intelliquilter computer systems. Her own customers have long applauded her dedication to mentoring and supporting them as they learn and grow.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What Intelliquilter features must I have?
To complete this workflow, your iQ system must support the ability to define Block Patterns, place line patterns, split, create path pattern, combine and distort. Create and save new patterns. These are standard features in most modern iQ systems.
I'm new to iQ. Can I take this course?
We recommend you are comfortable with basic iQ operations (loading digital patterns, and general machine movement) before enrolling. This course focuses on building your skills with simple custom quilting.
Do I need special digital patterns?
No, we are focusing on using simple shapes from your existing geometrics catalog. The course focuses on using iQ's powerful tools to adapt and manage your existing pattern library.
