This course is designed for experienced beginners to Advanced longarm quilters who own and operate an Intelliquilter (iQ) system. It is specifically aimed at those who want to create unique custom borders in the Sue Spargo style.

Tracey Browning

Over 30 years being in the quilting business, Tracey has experience in so many areas that she is keen to share with you. From her early years as a quilt teacher, quilt designer, pattern designer, magazine and quilting books contributor to then moving into longarm machine quilting for customers, becoming the Australian Dealer for A1 Quilting machines and Intelliquilter computer systems. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

To complete this workflow, your iQ system must support the ability to define Block Patterns, create clipping blocks, have path pattern editing tool (ClassIQ system)  utilize Mark on Quilt for accurate mapping, and customize Stitching Sequences and Transitions. These are standard features in most modern iQ systems.

We recommend you are comfortable with basic iQ operations (loading digital patterns, setting up a standard block, and general machine movement) before enrolling. This course focuses on building your skills with simple quilting.

No, we will be utilising basic geometric designs already included with your tablet. The course focuses on using iQ's powerful tools to adapt and manage your existing pattern library.
